Community-Guidelines

These guidelines define what's expected of every member of the Anewluv community. They apply to your profile, your photos, your messages, and your interactions with other people on and off the app. Violating any of them can result in a warning, a temporary suspension, or a permanent ban — proportional to the severity and to whether it's a repeated behavior.

We review every report we receive. If we get something wrong, you can always submit an appeal directly from the in-app screen — we'll respond within 24 hours.

Be a real person, with real intentions

- Use your own photos. No celebrity photos, stock images, AI-generated likenesses, or photos of someone else.

- Your face must be clearly visible in at least one photo. Hidden, masked, or fully obscured faces are rejected.

- One person per profile. Don't run multiple accounts to circumvent matches, blocks, or moderation actions.

- No minors, ever. You must be 18+ to use Anewluv. Photos of minors (yours or anyone's) are not allowed on the platform under any circumstance.

Treat people with respect

- No harassment. Don't insult, threaten, or harass other people through messages, profile content, or any other channel. Persistent unwanted contact after someone has unmatched or stopped replying counts as harassment.

- No hate speech. Slurs, dehumanizing language, or content attacking people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin gets you banned. There's no "edgy humor" exception.

- No threats. Threatening violence, doxxing, stalking, or any kind of physical harm — online or offline — is grounds for an immediate permanent ban and a report to law enforcement where appropriate.

Keep it honest

- No fake profiles. Misrepresenting your name, age, gender, location, or relationship status to deceive matches is a fake profile.

- No catfishing. Don't pose as someone you're not, including using someone else's identity or photos.

- No bot behavior. Automated likes, scripted messages, or repetitive copy-paste patterns get accounts removed.

Keep it on-platform

- No solicitation for off-platform contact early in a conversation. Asking for someone's WhatsApp / Telegram / Snapchat / phone number / Venmo / Cash App in your opening messages is a red flag we treat as an off-platform-contact violation. Get to know someone first.

- No money requests. Don't ask matches for money, gift cards, crypto, or anything of monetary value. Don't link to payment platforms in your profile or DMs. This is the most reliable signal of a romance scam.

Keep it safe

- No inappropriate photos. No nudity, no explicit sexual content, no violence or gore, no hate symbols. Photos must comply with our content rules.

- No non-consensual sexual content. Sending explicit images to someone who didn't ask for them, or sharing intimate images of someone without their consent, results in a permanent ban.

- No fraud or scam patterns. Investment "advice," crypto pitches, MLM recruitment, fake giveaways, romance scams, or any pattern designed to manipulate or extract money from matches is grounds for a ban.

Don't try to evade moderation

- No ban evasion. If your account has been banned or suspended, don't create a new one. We detect this and the new account will also be banned.

- No account-trading. Don't buy, sell, or transfer Anewluv accounts. Each account belongs to one person.

- Appeal in good faith. You can appeal any moderation action — we want to fix mistakes. Submitting an obviously dishonest appeal doesn't help and gets logged against your record.

How moderation works

When someone reports your behavior, an admin reviews the report along with context: the message content, your account age, prior moderation history, and the relationship between you and the reporter.

Based on what they find, one of four things happens:

- Dismissed — the report doesn't show a violation; nothing changes.

- Warning — minor first-time issue. Your account stays active and you'll see a banner explaining what happened. After three warnings or one severe issue, an admin may escalate.

- Suspension — temporary lockout (typically 7–30 days). You can use the app again after the suspension ends, or appeal the decision now.

- Ban — permanent removal from the platform. Reserved for severe issues (threats, hate speech, fraud, content involving minors, repeat offenses) or after multiple suspensions show a pattern. You can appeal a ban once.

Appeals

Every moderation action can be appealed once from inside the app. Tap Submit Appeal on the lockout screen, explain what we got wrong with as much specific context as you can, and we'll respond within 24 hours. If we overturn the decision, your account is restored. If we uphold it, the decision is final for that action.
